Billing Cycles
Section titled “Billing Cycles”Horizon subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis:
- Monthly billing — charged on the same day each month (the day you first subscribed). Cancel anytime with no long-term commitment.
- Annual billing — charged once per year. Annual plans receive a 20% discount compared to monthly billing. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable but you can upgrade at any time during the cycle.
Your subscription fee covers the plan’s base features and user seats. Credit purchases for agent activity (LLM calls, skill executions) are billed separately through the Wallet system.
Upgrading Your Plan
Section titled “Upgrading Your Plan”- Navigate to Billing > Subscriptions.
- Click Change Plan.
- Select the new plan tier.
- Review the feature changes and updated pricing.
- Confirm the upgrade.
Upgrades take effect immediately:
- New features and higher limits are available right away.
- You are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
- If you are on annual billing, the prorated difference between the old and new plan is charged immediately.
Downgrading Your Plan
Section titled “Downgrading Your Plan”Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. This means:
- You continue to have access to your current plan’s features until the cycle ends.
- At the start of the next cycle, the lower plan’s limits take effect.
Before the downgrade applies, Horizon checks whether your current usage fits within the lower plan’s limits. If not, you will see warnings about what needs to change:
| Overage | Action Required |
|---|---|
| Too many users | Deactivate users to meet the new plan’s limit |
| Too many agents | Pause or delete agents to fit the new limit |
| Too many connections | Remove connections to fit the new limit |
| Too many departments | Consolidate or remove departments |
If overages are not resolved before the downgrade date, the system will automatically pause resources that exceed the new limits — starting with the most recently created ones.
