Company Profile

Your company profile is the foundation of Horizon’s business context. The information you provide here helps the Operator and your agents understand your organization, tailor their behavior, and make decisions aligned with your industry and scale.

Horizon agents use your company profile as context when executing tasks. For example:

  • An agent drafting a customer email will adjust its tone based on your industry (formal for financial services, conversational for a startup).
  • The Operator uses your company size to calibrate expectations for throughput and resource allocation.
  • Skills that generate reports format data according to industry conventions.

A well-configured company profile leads to more relevant, accurate agent outputs.

  1. Navigate to Company > Profile from the main navigation.
  2. Click Edit Profile in the top-right corner.
  3. Update the fields described below.
  4. Click Save Changes.

Your organization’s legal or trading name. This is displayed throughout the Horizon interface and used by agents when they need to reference your company (e.g., in emails, reports, or invoices).

Select your industry from the dropdown list. Available options include:

  • Technology / Software
  • Financial Services / Banking
  • Healthcare / Life Sciences
  • Retail / E-commerce
  • Manufacturing
  • Professional Services / Consulting
  • Real Estate
  • Education
  • Media / Entertainment
  • Non-profit
  • Government
  • Other

If your industry is not listed, select Other and provide a description in the free-text field.

Indicate your organization’s size by employee count:

RangeLabel
1-10Startup
11-50Small
51-200Medium
201-1,000Large
1,001-10,000Enterprise
10,000+Large Enterprise

Company size affects default settings like rate limits, notification thresholds, and the Operator’s resource planning recommendations.

A free-text field where you can describe your business in detail. Include information like:

  • What products or services you offer.
  • Your target market and customer base.
  • Key business processes you want agents to support.
  • Any industry-specific terminology or abbreviations agents should understand.

This description is injected into the context window when agents need to understand your business. The more specific you are, the better your agents will perform.

Upload your company logo (PNG or SVG, max 2 MB). The logo appears in the Horizon dashboard header and in any external-facing communications sent by agents (e.g., email footers).

Set your organization’s primary timezone and locale. These settings affect:

  • Default scheduling for agent tasks and cron jobs.
  • Date and number formatting in reports.
  • Business hours calculations for the Operator.

Only users with the Organization Admin or Owner role can modify the company profile. Other users can view the profile but cannot make changes. See Roles for details on permission levels.

The Operator — Horizon’s AI orchestration layer — reads your company profile to make high-level decisions about agent coordination. Changes to your profile (such as updating your industry or description) take effect immediately and influence all subsequent Operator decisions and altitude checks.
