Organization Settings
Organization settings define the core identity and operational defaults for your Horizon instance. These settings affect how agents behave, how dates and numbers are formatted, and how your organization appears to team members and partners.
Accessing Organization Settings
Section titled “Accessing Organization Settings”- Click your organization name in the bottom-left corner of the Horizon sidebar.
- Select Settings from the menu.
- Navigate to the Organization tab.
Only users with the Owner or Admin role can modify organization settings. All other users can view them.
General Settings
Section titled “General Settings”Company Name
Section titled “Company Name”Your company name appears throughout the Horizon interface, in agent-generated communications, and in partner-facing views. This should be your legal or trading name.
To change the company name:
- Click the Company Name field.
- Enter the new name.
- Click Save.
Company Logo
Section titled “Company Logo”Upload a logo (PNG, SVG, or JPEG, max 2 MB, minimum 200x200 px) that represents your organization. The logo is displayed in:
- The Horizon dashboard header.
- Agent-generated email footers and external communications.
- Partner portal headers when collaborators access shared resources.
- Exported reports and documents.
Industry Vertical
Section titled “Industry Vertical”Select the industry that best describes your business. This setting influences:
- Agent terminology — agents interpret domain-specific terms differently based on your industry. For example, “pipeline” means something different in Sales versus Oil & Gas.
- Recommended skills and apps — the Horizon Store surfaces industry-relevant suggestions.
- Default report formats — reporting agents use industry-standard layouts and KPIs.
Available industry verticals include Technology, Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, Professional Services, Real Estate, Education, Media, Non-profit, Government, and Other. If you select Other, you can provide a custom description.
Regional Settings
Section titled “Regional Settings”Timezone
Section titled “Timezone”Set your organization’s primary timezone. This affects:
- Agent task scheduling and cron job timing.
- Timestamp display throughout the Horizon dashboard.
- Business hours calculations used by the Operator for workload planning.
- Default timezone for new users who have not set a personal preference.
Select a timezone from the IANA timezone database dropdown (e.g., America/New_York, Europe/London, Asia/Tokyo).
Default Language
Section titled “Default Language”Set the default language for agent-generated content and the Horizon interface. Supported languages include English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese.
Date and Number Formats
Section titled “Date and Number Formats”Choose the formatting conventions for your organization:

Clerk Organization Settings
Section titled “Clerk Organization Settings”Horizon uses Clerk as its authentication and identity provider. Several organization-level settings in Horizon map directly to Clerk configuration.
Organization Slug
Section titled “Organization Slug”Your organization slug is used in URLs and API calls (e.g., https://app.horizon.ai/org/your-slug). The slug is set during initial setup and cannot be changed from the Horizon UI. Contact support if you need to update it.
Allowed Authentication Methods
Section titled “Allowed Authentication Methods”Configure which sign-in methods are available to your users:
- Email + Password — standard email and password authentication.
- Google OAuth — sign in with Google accounts.
- Microsoft OAuth — sign in with Microsoft work or personal accounts.
- SAML SSO — enterprise single sign-on via your identity provider (Okta, Azure AD, OneLogin, etc.).
Session Policies
Section titled “Session Policies”Control session behavior for your organization:
- Session lifetime — how long a session remains valid before requiring re-authentication (default: 7 days).
- Inactivity timeout — how long an idle session persists before automatic logout (default: 24 hours).
- Multi-session support — whether users can be signed in on multiple devices simultaneously.
Domain Verification
Section titled “Domain Verification”If your organization uses SAML SSO or you want to auto-enroll users with a specific email domain, add and verify your domain in the Domains section. Verified domains enable:
- Automatic organization membership for new users with matching email addresses.
- Enforced SSO for users on the verified domain.
- Click Add Domain.
- Enter your domain (e.g.,
yourcompany.com). - Add the provided DNS TXT record to your domain’s DNS configuration.
- Click Verify once the DNS record has propagated (this can take up to 48 hours).
Danger Zone
Section titled “Danger Zone”At the bottom of the Organization Settings page, you will find destructive actions:
- Transfer Ownership — transfer the Owner role to another Admin. This cannot be undone without the new owner’s consent.
- Delete Organization — permanently delete the organization and all associated data, agents, connections, and history. This action requires confirmation by typing the organization name and is irreversible.
