Canvases
Ask a deployed agent to build and publish a web page, then share it by link, update it in place, or take it down.
A canvas is a single web page that one of your agents builds and publishes for you: a report, a searchable table, an interactive explainer, a photo gallery from a workshop. Any deployed Horizon agent can make one.
Make a canvas
Ask in plain words, in Operator chat, Slack or Microsoft Teams:
Make a canvas of this quarter’s open invoices, with a search box.
The agent builds the page and replies with a link:
https://canvas.horizonplatform.ai/{your-org}/{agent-name}/{page-name}
A canvas needs no login. Anyone who has the link can see it, and search engines do not index it. Don’t publish anything you wouldn’t share by link.
Update, list and remove
- Update: ask the agent to change the canvas. Use the same title, or say “update that canvas”. The new version replaces the old one at the same link.
- List: ask “What canvases have you published?”
- Remove: ask the agent to unpublish it. The link then shows “This canvas isn’t available”.
Every canvas shows a slim “Made with Horizon” bar under the page, with a link to start free.
Cost and limits
Publishing a canvas costs no skill charge. The agent’s normal conversation usage applies as usual.
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Page size | Up to 5 MB |
| Publishes per organization | 60 per hour |
| Live canvases per organization | 500 |
| Versions kept per canvas | The newest 20; older ones are pruned |
What an interactive canvas can do
If you ask for an interactive page, it runs in a sandbox, isolated from Horizon and from your browser’s storage.
- Scripts, forms and popups work. Libraries from public CDNs over https load fine.
- Cookies, localStorage and sessionStorage are unavailable, so the page can’t remember anything between visits.
- A canvas can’t read data from your Horizon account. It contains only what the agent put in it.
