Financial Reporting

Reporting in Horizon isn’t an export or a rebuild — the statements read live from the same ledger your documents post to. If it’s in your books, it’s in your reports, immediately and always in balance.

These screens live under Financial Reporting in the Finance sidebar.

Open Financial Statements for the three that matter:

  • Profit & Loss — what you earned and spent over the period.
  • Balance Sheet — what you own and owe at a point in time.
  • Cash Flow — where the money actually moved.

Pick the period; the statements follow your account-group structure, so they subtotal the way you think.

Trial Balance is the accountant’s x-ray: every account with its debits and credits for the period. It balances by construction — Horizon won’t post an unbalanced entry — so what you’re really reading is where the activity landed. Something look off? Drill from the balance to the documents behind it.

During month-end, Working Trial Balance is the close companion: the trial balance laid out for review, so you can walk the accounts, spot what needs an adjusting entry, post it, and watch the numbers settle before you close the period.

AR Aging and AP Aging — receivables and payables by how-overdue — live with their own areas but belong in your reporting rhythm. Together they’re your near-term cash picture.
